As part of the Valley Youth House tradition, we have prepared a resource guide to support conversations and connections around the Martin Luther King Day of Service to implement with youth, families and each other. You will find a sampling of live events, music, storytelling, videos and discussion topics, all geared to enlighten and empower us as we continue our work around diversity, equity inclusion and belonging.
Valley Youth House honors the life and legacy of Dr. King. We all have the privilege and responsibility to educate and enlighten our youth, families and each other to support the vision of not only Dr. King, but also countless other individuals who valiantly uphold the banner of freedom and justice for us all. Let us use this day to humbly advocate for others while encouraging us all to respect, celebrate and cultivate the unique qualities and vision that we all bring to our communities.
